The Medical Tourism Association Participates in the Familiarization Tour in Malaysia

West Palm Beach, FL, October 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Medical Tourism Association was honored to participate in the Familiarization “FAM” tour in the exquisite country of Malaysia in Asia Pacific. Malaysian FAM tour was sponsored by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and included visits to top international hospitals in the country including Prince Court Medical Center, IJN (National Heart Institute) Hospital, Pantai Hospital, KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital, Loh Guan Lye Specialists Center, Sime Darby Medical Center, Penang Adventist Hospital, and Gleneagles Medical Center, Penang.

Providers also had a chance to embrace the tourism Malaysia has to offer including a sky bridge tour of the renowned Petronas Twin Towers, and a UNESCO heritage city tour through picturesque Penang. The FAM tour was lead by the Ministry of Health, who guided the group throughout the trip providing culture and history of the country.
