The International Forum Features Outstanding Authors at the 2010 Annual Meeting
Richard E. Jackim and Terri Sjodin to Discuss Exit Strategies and Presentation Skills during January meeting
Chicago, IL, October 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The International Forum will host hundreds of the nation's top life insurance producers and financial service professionals January 16-20 during the 2010 Annual Meeting. With access to the industry's leading experts, attendees will gather to share ideas and to gain cutting-edge sales strategies to benefit their businesses.
Among the more than 50 speakers scheduled to present at the Annual Meeting are Richard E. Jackim, JD, MBA, CEPA, founder of the Exit Planning Institute, and Terri Sjodin, CSP, founder of Sjodin Communications.
As author of the critically acclaimed book, The $10 Trillion Opportunity: Designing Successful Exit Strategies for Middle Market Business Owners, Jackim will discuss how to leverage the exit planning process to attract high-level business owners to life insurance practices. He brings real-world experience as the managing director of business development for MidCap Advisors, a middle market investment bank that represents privately-owned businesses with revenues of between $5 and $150 million.
Terri Sjodin, CSP, founder of Sjodin Communications and author of New Sales Speak: The 9 Biggest Sales Presentation Mistakes and How To Avoid Them, will present techniques for building and delivering polished, effective sales presentations. In addition to focusing on presentation mistakes and their solutions, Sjodin will cover verbal communication skills, visual aids, body language and closing. Sjodin is considered by many to be today's sales professionals' speech coach, and her clients include an impressive list of Fortune 500 companies, industry associations, academic conferences and leadership on Capital Hill.
"The Forum prides itself on our Annual Meeting - it is uncensored, progressive and has been the proving ground for many of today's mainstream life insurance concepts. Our meeting sets the standard for the rest of the industry, and our members represent its most innovative minds," stated Clarke Langrall, Jr., LUTCF, CEPA, President of The International Forum. "Richard and Terri epitomize the caliber of speakers we've assembled to spur the free-flow idea exchange and no-holds-barred sharing that is the basis of our existence."
Both Jackim and Sjodin are scheduled to appear during the Monday morning General Session, January 18. The International Forum 2010 Annual Meeting will take place at the newly built 497-room Waldorf Astoria Orlando - the first Waldorf to open in 75 years and the first Waldorf ever built outside of New York City.
