Los Angeles, CA, October 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Academy Award winner, Shirley Jones, popular veteran of America’s Broadway, Motion Picture and TV arenas, takes the jump this month into the “Recording” sector when she flies to Branson, MO. to complete her first music album with and for) the Les Brown recording company. The Jones-Brown collaboration has been in the works for some time, according to Brown‘s PR people. Insiders say, Jones’ familiar hi-range soprano symphony fashion will be completely re-styled into a Les Brown arrangement-plan designed for the well known star of the American musical classics – Oklahoma, Carousel, and The Music Man. Of course, the legacy of Les Brown (Band of Renown) goes back to the 30’s and 40‘s supplying the music for the likes of Doris Day, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat “King” Cole, Tony Bennett, Steve Allen, Dean Martin, and as Bob Hopes permanent orchestra for almost 50 years. Les Brown Jr. continues the legend, performing the great band’s sound across the world and producing for artists such as Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, and Carlos Santana. All eyes (and ears) now fixed for any announcement from Brown regarding release date projections. Either way, lotsa’ people be lookin’ to listen to Les Brown Jr’s “new” Shirley Jones, soon available.
