The SEC has released details of its November conference to be held at the Royal Society of the Arts on 20th November, 2009, including a keynote address by government behaviour tsar, Sir Alan Steer.

The keynote speaker will be government behaviour tsar, Sir Alan Steer, along with speeches by Ms. Farzana Aldridge and Dr. Rosie Raffety, followed by their participation in a panel discussion. The 2009 conference theme is: 'Educational consulting in a changing landscape: responding to current political, economic and educational challenges.' After the keynote address and morning discussion, conference attendees will be able to choose from a number of workshops covering the Early Years Foundation stage, marketing an education consultancy business and also financial advice. "The workshops are designed to help with the practical aspects of running an education consultancy business, as well as theory." The afternoon session of the conference will focus on the opportunity to participate in networking structured by sector, followed by a discussion and plenary in response to the survey of members recently completed by the SEC.
