Whitstable, United Kingdom, October 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Society of Education Consultants (SEC) has released details of its next annual education consultancy conference to be held on 20th November, 2009 at the Royal Society of Arts, London. The keynote speaker will be government behaviour tsar, Sir Alan Steer, along with speeches by Ms. Farzana Aldridge and Dr. Rosie Raffety, followed by their participation in a panel discussion. The conference, aimed at professionals in the education consultancy industry, will also include several workshops and networking opportunities. For more information, and to book a place, visit www.sec.org.uk or call 0845 345 7932.
The 2009 conference theme is: 'Educational consulting in a changing landscape: responding to current political, economic and educational challenges.' "The 2008 conference was very well received, and with more members than ever before, we anticipate the 2009 SEC conference will be a great success," commented Adam Caller, Marketing Officer for the SEC. "It provides a perfect opportunity to discuss the challenges faced by education consultants in these interesting times, and also for networking with others, which is invaluable for consultants who usually work alone."
After the keynote address and morning discussion, conference attendees will be able to choose from a number of workshops covering the Early Years Foundation stage, marketing an education consultancy business and also financial advice. "Many of our members run their own consultancy businesses," Adam explained. "The workshops are designed to help with the practical aspects of running an education consultancy business, as well as theory." The afternoon session of the conference will focus on the opportunity to participate in networking structured by sector, followed by a discussion and plenary in response to the survey of members recently completed by the SEC.
