Las Vegas Shriners Pair Up with Team Smile

Las Vegas, NV, October 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Zelzah Shrine Center at 2222 West Mesquite Avenue, Las Vegas will be turned into a dental clinic for one day on October 13, 2009. They are bringing together a combination of 14 local and TeamSmile™ dentists and 36 support personnel to provide free care to approximately 200 children, many of whom have never been to a dentist.

This is being made possible through a partnership with TeamSmile™ and the Zelzah Shriners. With the help of your local dental community, full service dentistry will be delivered at no cost to local children from Gene Ward Elementary School.

This is a pilot program for the Zelzah Shriners and continues their tradition of service to the community, especially for children. Shriners operate and fund 22 Hospitals for Children providing pediatric specialty care focusing on the treatment of orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate. All of this is done at absolutely no cost to the children or their families.

It is expected that the success of this new program to prompt dramatic growth in future years. With public support of this program Zelzah Shriners can continue to provide services that help make lives better for our local children and the Las Vegas community.
