The 7th Annual Midwest ACG Capital Connection, Presented by ACG Chicago Happening Oct. 20 at McCormick Place
Chicago, IL, October 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Association for Corporate Growth, Chicago Chapter (ACG Chicago), will host the 2009 Midwest ACG Capital Connection, a premier gathering of middle-market M&A professionals from across North America, including executives from leading private equity firms, preeminent investment banks, intermediaries and senior and mezzanine leaders, for a day of deal making.
Commentator, author and former Congressman Joe Scarborough will serve as moderator of the morning keynote, “Regulation Under 21st Century Capitalism,” featuring former SEC Chairs Christopher Cox (2004-2009) and Arthur Levitt (1993-2001).
The afternoon speaker presentation will feature Brian Uzzi, Richard L. Thomas distinguished chair in leadership at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, discussing his award-winning research on networking in finance.
The ACG Capital Connection Networking Forum will have more than 150 capital sources, analyzing opportunities with a full range of criteria from early- to late-stage manufacturing to high tech and more.
The day will close with ACG Chicago’s famous Deal Source, a “speed dating” session which brings investment bankers and intermediaries seeking equity and/or to buy/sell companies together with select private equity groups for brief one-on-one meetings.
