NBS Announces Promotion of Russell P. Markman to President
Effective immediately Russell P. Markman assumes the position of President from his former post as VP of Business Development. Mr. Markman will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of NBS’ day to day activities.
Wayne, NJ, September 23, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Effective immediately Russell P. Markman assumes the position of President from his former post as VP of Business Development. Making the announcement was Jon Kaufman, CEO of the Northern NJ based telecom provider. “We have had some great successes in developing new services and have made great strides in developing our company into a long term industry leader and innovator,” stated Kaufman. “I have, therefore, decided to make some changes to our management structure in order to more effectively implement our vision, and I can think of no one more capable or competent than Russell to take on the role of President and grow the company even further,” he added.

As a seasoned professional, Markman has extensive experience in every facet of telecom, bringing over 20 years of management and operational expertise to the job. His background includes posts as Sales Director for RCN, Vice President of Galaxy Communications and President of National Calling Plan, Inc. He plans to call upon his extensive management skills in a realignment of NBS’ organizational structure and a deployment of additional resources to ensure continued expansion of the company.
Founded in 1984 NBS has a large mix of traditional TDM based telecom services that are resold through an extensive network of dealers and wholesalers, and supported with their own in-house billing, technical support and customer service divisions.
