While answering a question raised by a local journalist Dr. Naseer said “my open letter sent to President Obama this year on September 21 elaborates very well the parameter of our trust on him and his initiatives, it is just a coincidence that just after two weeks he won Noble Peace Prize-2009. While stressing on what he earlier wrote to President Obama Dr. Naseer said “world community is building high hopes on you, and we wish that you will certainly do something substantial for the oppressed nations and its citizens and particularly about bringing peace in Middle East, which is subject to longstanding dispute thus creating unwanted pain and agony for the people of the region”. It is truth that very rarely a person gets this recognition while working for humanity at a whole and that’s too in his early age, Dr. Naseer urged.

Dr. Naseer while also congratulating the committee which finalized President Obama for this prestigious prize said “it is really a wonderful decision which is welcomed by any peace admirer and this will certainly gain momentum to the real essence of Noble committee”.

“The Noble Peace Prize for President Obama, leader of the key military power in the world, at the beginning of his tenure is a reflection of the hopes he has raised globally with his vision of a world free of nuclear weapons” Dr. Naseer said while addressing the media. He went on saying “President Obama represented hope around the world and had "changed the leadership of the world”.

Congratulating President Obama on this occasion which brought this moment attributed among others to his insightful efforts towards the democracy and peace promotion in the Arab world; for his rightly expressing and echoing the culture of Islam and its holistic principles in Cairo speech; and for his firm commitments and strong will to establish peace, Dr. Naseer says that the entire Islamic community is hopeful that the US President’s words would certainly be matched by some practical actions unlike his predecessors who made the retrogressive imprints.

While calling the support of President Obama for IIMSAM Dr. Naseer said “one of the major hurdles to peace initiatives is world hunger and malnutrition and I wish that President Obama shall extend his government support for our organization which is also proudly associated with his family”.
