On Sunday, October 18 more than 50 event professionals will be showcased at the third Simcha and Mitzvah Fair. This year’s fair, located at the JCC Staenberg Family Complex, will give guests a helping hand in planning for their next once in a life time event such as a bar or bat mitzvah, company party, social occasion or wedding. In addition to vendors, the fair will include the launch of Suzi Tozer’s new book “Unforgettable Parties… Without Breaking the Bank” as well as fashion shows, Q&A sessions and children’s activities.
“Past fairs have garnered rave reviews from attendees,” commented Simcha and Mitzvah Fair 2009 organizer Suzi Tozer. “This year’s focus is not only about helping guests find cost-efficient ways to plan their events, but also introducing the Jewish community to new and exciting event professionals.”
Many of this year’s exhibitors are seasoned event professionals, but new to the Jewish event market. These vendors attended special classes to become certified as familiar with servicing Jewish events. The language, dietary laws observed by some Jewish people, special customs and unique celebrations were discussed and studied. All vendors will offer attendees the chance to learn about new ideas and when it is best to use an event professional.
The Simcha and Mitzvah Fair 2009 is sponsored by the Jewish Light and the Jewish Community Center (JCC). The JCC has been a presence in the St. Louis community since 1880. For more information about the Simcha and Mitzvah Fair 2009 visit www.smf2009.com.
