So You Think You Can Dance Introduces US Audiences to Sweet 17’s Supabeat

Los Angeles, CA, October 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- New dance craze Supabeat was introduced to US audiences when the song of the same name was featured nationwide on the most recent episode of So You Think You Can Dance alongside tracks by Rihanna and the Ting Tings.

The title track from Sweet 17’s debut album, Supabeat features a fast, driving beat from DJ Scooter Pietsch and soaring vocals from internationally renowned vocalists Dannielle DeAndrea and Jessica New.

Since its release through SPM Records, tracks from the Sweet 17 debut album Supabeat have featured prominently on US and international TV shows including Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Degrassi the Next Generation, hot new show Eastwick and MTV’s The Real World.

As a songwriting and production team, Sweet 17 have been working with upcoming artists in Australia, the US and the UK.

DJ Scooter has had success in many fields of the entertainment business including being an Emmy nominated songwriter, music producer, film and television composer as well as creator and executive producer of TV shows.

Jessica New was born and raised in Los Angeles. Her funky yet sweet vocal has rocked many TV and film scores, most notably as the lead vocal on ‘Do Your Own Thang’- the theme to The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency.

Dannielle DeAndrea is currently on a national tour of Australia both as a solo artist (Dannielle Gaha) and with the legendary John Farnham.
