Mobobo Rampage Onto iPhone
Mobobo release their first application onto iphone, but surprisingly from a Games Company, “Captain Rampage” is not a game at all.
New York, NY, October 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Why has Mobobo a company long associated with handheld games, released a graphic novel onto iphone?
Neil Pettitt, Art Director of mobobo explains “ We have several titles coming out on iphone, however we felt it would be an ideal platform to put out a high quality graphic novel, and as the coding side of "Captain Rampage" is relatively simple in comparison with complex games, this was ready first.
It was also a real coup to get Andrew T. McGinty involved on Captain Rampage, as not only is he a cult figure in the UK music scene, but is a real professional to work with, and he’s come up with a fantastic soundtrack.
Initial feedback shows that people loved the artwork, story and music, and people really wanted more, so we hope to build this into a much more expansive overall story with each subsequent self-contained episode. There are 5 sequels and 2 prequels planned.
However, that wont be until after Christmas, as up until then we are concentrating on releasing our catalogue of games.”
