Empire Medical Training introduces the low-level or cold laser therapy treatment for nicotine addiction that has been used internationally for over 30 years in Europe and Canada and now available in the United States. Low-level laser is being studied at this time for FDA Approval to see if it promotes the release of endorphins in the body. Endorphins are natural chemicals in the body that signal the system to decrease stress and increase energy. This therapy has also aided patients for weight loss where these same principles apply.
Low-level laser therapy for smoking cessation operates on principles similar to the 5,000 year old ancient Asian healing art of Acupuncture.
