New York City Holiday Retail Scene Gets Promotional Boost
Independent Retail Week Initiative returns to the Big Apple to support retailers
New York, NY, October 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Independent Retail Week: New York City, November 14th – 20th 2009, presented by Nolcha.com, aims to drive business, increase revenue and provide brand awareness for independent retailers via a week long city wide shopping extravaganza for fashion and beauty lovers. Consumers are welcomed to join the celebration as some of best independent fashion stores will offer select promotions and a calendar of exclusive in-store events.
Supported by Where Magazine and IN New York Magazine tourists will receive a taste of what is hot in the New York shopping scene and be able to check out new destinations to take home that perfect purchase. Taking place one week prior to Thanksgiving shoppers will be spoilt for choice on where to get a one of a kind Holiday outfit as well as pick up gifts for family and friends.
PrettyCity.com will be updating beauty lovers with the must have pampering events to attend including a fashion exhibition and make-overs at Clarins Skin Spa, a Gentleman’s evening at Sarar with facials/shaves and massages in a Soho shoe store.
Featured stores include Anavaa Kisasa, Bump Brooklyn, Calvin Tran, Duncan Quinn, Kaight, Meg, Mini Centro, Plaza too, Sarar, Shelley Sheffee and Shin Choi.
Continuing its support for ethical fashion, Nolcha has partnered with Morsbags to produce shopping totes that are funky, strong, fabric reusable bags made from recycled duvet covers, curtains and vintage clothes that will be given consumers to replace the traditional goodie bags and plastic shopping bags.
All you have to do to enjoy the celebration of Independent Retail Week is support the fashion boutiques, have fun at events and shout out I Love Independent Retail Week: New York City whenever shopping to get the most out of the week long promotions and activities.
