Fuqua School of Business & Coach K Leadership Conference to Include Session on Social Networks
Durham, NC, October 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Duke University’s Fuqua/Coach K Center on Leadership & Ethics (COLE) (www.leadershipandethics.org) has announced that the 8th annual Fuqua School of Business & Coach K Leadership Conference will include an interactive session entitled “Leading the Next Generation of Workers and Customers: Leveraging the Social Network” on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Geneen Auditorium at Duke University. Tony O’Driscoll, professor of the practice at the Fuqua School of Business and executive director of the Center for IT and Media, will serve as the moderator. This session will explore how Web 2.0 technologies such as blogs, wikis, social networking and virtual worlds are being leveraged within the enterprise. The session's panelists are visionaries and pioneers in the application of these emerging technologies within their respective enterprises. They will share their insights and experiences from an information technology, marketing and human capital perspective. Panelists include:
