Proceeds from Tournament Will Benefit The Frankie Lemmon School
Raleigh, NC, September 25, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Don Walston, president and CEO of Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston, a Raleigh-based real estate firm, has announced that the company will sponsor the 42nd Annual Ed Shook Golf Classic at North Ridge Country Club at 6612 Falls of the Neuse Road on Monday, Sept. 25. This tournament will benefit the Frankie Lemmon School, a nonprofit, tuition-free public preschool in Raleigh serving children ages 3-6 who have developmental disabilities. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with lunch served at 11 a.m.
There are two divisions of play. The Boots Mims Challenge costs $2,500 per foursome to play and starts at 12:15 p.m., while the Ed Shook Scramble costs $800 per foursome to play and starts at 12:30 p.m. There will be putting, driving and chipping contests as well as prizes for holes in one and being closest to the pin on all par threes.
