Nashua, NH, October 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Speed Venture Summit™ sponsors have sweetened the pot for companies pitching at the October 28 program in Nashua, New Hampshire, offering choice awards to the top performers in addition to prospects of reeling in private capital from New England’s leading investors. Fifty of New England’s fastest-growing hot companies have been selected to pitch their growth stories to the region’s leading private capital investors. The five top presenting companies, as ranked by the investors, will qualify to participate in a Pitch-Off, where they will deliver a 1-minute elevator pitch to a crowd of over 300 persons during the early evening networking session. The audience will select the most compelling presentation as the winner.

Organizers expect that a total of approximately 50 companies will speed-pitch to 25 different investor groups in private 1:1 sessions throughout the afternoon.
The “speed-pitching” segment of the Summit will be held from 2:00 to 5:15pm, and will be followed by a two-hour business networking session open to the public that will provide an excellent opportunity for young companies to gain exposure and knowledge around seeking investment capital.
