London, United Kingdom, October 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- PA Group, based just outside Dartford, announced today the successful securing of a number of nationwide environmental service contracts that will ensure the excellent growth displayed so far, continues.
PA Group of Longfield, Kent were pleased to announce today that they have secured retail contracts for nationwide surveys and re-inspections for Focus DIY, Virgin Media, Safestore and the RAF. Environmental surveys and re-inspections of Asbestos Containing Materials is a legal requirement. These household name companies continue to ensure that their staff works in a safe clean environment by maintaining and managing the risks associated with this extremely dangerous material. PA Group will be visiting over 400 retail stores in the coming months.
Chris Miller-Hanna PA Group managing director said today “We wish to express our thanks for the continued trust our clients show in retaining our services in these difficult trading conditions. These contracts show that we as a company we can compete on service with some of our more well know competitors.” Continuing from Particle Analysis, PA Group have achieved a number of milestones including UKAS accreditation, a three year Asbestos removal licence from the HSE, ISO 9001 and 14001 18001 and CHAS accreditation among others. These milestones express a desire to approach the management and handling of asbestos and all of the services we provide, by considering the safest most practical route to achieve the objectives defined by health & safety, cost, environment and responsibility.
Chris also said on job creation, “National contracts such as Virgin and Focus enable us to grow, develop our existing staff and bring new people in. Small businesses are the largest employer in this area and we need to keep winning business such as this to secure the local jobs we create.” In the current economic climate, small business face an even harder challenge by having to compete against not only their usual competitors but also they are finding the larger companies chasing work that a year ago they would not have considered. “We will continue to strive for service and growth. We are committed to the promotion of continued awareness of the prevalence of asbestos in buildings. We fully support the initiatives of the HSE and their efforts to prevent needless deaths. We are constantly surprised to read in the news of court cases where lives are put at risk by shortcuts of unscrupulous companies who poorly manage or remove asbestos without the proper procedures in place, all to save a few pounds.”
