GoMobile Introduces Largest Billboard Truck in Puget Sound to Promote Tacoma Holiday Festival
Seattle, WA, October 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- GoMobile, a national out-of-home advertising and experiential marketing company has introduced their hometown of Seattle WA to the largest billboard truck it’s ever seen. Their new “A-frame” vehicle is running giant-sized billboards in honor of South Puget Sound’s own Tacoma Holiday Food & Gift Festival, which begins October 21.
GoMobile, most often recognized for their scrolling billboard and 3D showroom vehicles used in campaigns for IKEA, Safeco, Hitachi, AT&T and Miller Chill, has only recently added the super-sized A-frame vehicle to their arsenal. Previously running campaigns in California, the truck was recently driven back up to the Northwest to serve as another option for eye-catching outdoor advertising campaigns. After recently diversifying by offering more out-of-home options, Chris Schuler, President of GoMobile thought the 10’ by 22’ billboard would be a useful addition to the array of products they offer. “Everyone who has seen the A-frame vehicle has never seen anything like it. It is extremely captivating. Its sheer size alone allows for larger than life messages for our clients.” Though the truck does not scroll like GoMobile’s more famous billboard vehicles, its massive size and bright backlighting is sure to grab attention throughout the Puget Sound.
The Tacoma Holiday Food and Gift Festival runs through October 25th at the Tacoma Dome. Over 400,000 people attend annually and spend a collective $3 million over the five days. The festival boasts everything from gift ideas to gourmet foods to live entertainment. On-site parking and childcare will be provided. Hours vary by day, so visit their website at www.HolidayGiftShows.com.
