Matador Cantina Awarded OC’s Best Happy Hour and After-Work Bar
Within only six months, the cantina has become one of Orange County's most popular dining and drinking destinations offering exquisite Mexican cuisine and specialty handcrafted cocktails.

Having been open only six months, the downtown Fullerton cantina has quickly become one of the most popular dining and drinking destinations in the area.
In addition to its wide range of domestic and imported beers, including 14 varieties on tap, Matador Cantina offers an array of spirits including an extensive menu of premium tequilas. Also popular are Matador’s signature cocktails such as the Jalapeño Martini, made from housemade Jalapeño-infused Hornitos tequila, and the irresistible sweet chili candy-rimmed Mango Dulce, made from a blend of mango vodka, rum and mango puree. Draft beers are served by the pint or in chilled 32oz. glass milk jugs, also a new town favorite. To complement its Mexican cuisine, Matador also stocks a selection of Spanish and South American wines.
Matador’s Happy Hour, which runs from 2pm-6pm Monday through Friday offers discounts on all bar drinks, as well as a specially priced $5 appetizer menu, which features everything from Cantina Rolls, Nachos, Quesadillas, Wings and other tasty dishes. The same menu is also offered to late night guests from 10pm-midnight.
