As of October 18, Numbeo database contains 6526 data for 267 cities. Numbeo.com allows everybody to estimate their own cost of living expenses if they are relocating. Getting this information in a structured way before was far more expensive and difficult. Numbeo.com uses data contributions of people all around the world to make these data for free available to everyone in a structured manner.

The latest software updates just introduced also allows visitors :
- to see latest prices for goods and services its track
- to calculate custom cost of living indexes according to custom basket of goods and services
- to navigate using integrated maps provided with Google Maps API
- to enjoy new look&feel
- to verify and provide verification sources and references for data whenever possible
- to display all data in currencies for which European Central Bank provides exchange ratios

Numbeo.com was launched as beta in May 2009 and since that day this is a second major software update. Overwhelming feedback and opinions of its visitors contributed not only towards more available data, but also for software update ideas.

About Numbeo.com - Numbeo.com is a freelance project of Mladen Adamovic. Mladen was a software engineer in Google Ireland Ltd between Feb 2007 and Feb 2009. Before joining Google he spent three years teaching and researching at University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He obtained M.Sc. Electrical Engineering from University of Banja Luka in 2006 and B.Sc. Math from University of Belgrade in 2003.
