Fowler Software Design and Metech Recycling Join Forces to Help Schools Recycle Electronics
Fowler Software Design is partnering with Metech Recycling, COMtuity and Sprint to create an electronics recycling collection competition between several Denver area schools participating in the OpenWorld Learning program.
Denver, CO, October 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Denver-based custom software development company, Fowler Software Design, is partnering with Metech Recycling, formerly Guaranteed Recycling Xperts of Denver; COMtuity; and Sprint to create an electronics recycling collection competition between several Denver area schools participating in the OpenWorld Learning program.
The schools participating in the competition are involved in the OpenWorld Learning after-school program which focuses on using technology to help children learn. On October 26, 2009, Metech Recycling will place recycling totes in the schools where they will remain for three weeks until November 14, 2009. The winner will be announced on December 5, 2009 at the Colorado TechFair hosted by OpenWorld Learning.
On Saturday, November 14, 2009, Fowler Software Design and Metech Recycling will be hosting an electronics recycling collection. The collection will be at Metech’s new facility located at 500 West 53rd Place, Denver, Colorado 80216, and will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Metech Recycling will be giving one-day only special event recycling fees including the following:
Cell Phones, PDA’s, Ipod/MP3’s: Free
Small Electronics: $2
Computers/Laptops: $5
Monitors and TV’s (up to 20”): $8
Monitors and TV’s (21” and larger): $15
