Hologic Finishes Testing of AUC1, NumberCrunch LTD's Advanced AI Algorithm

Haifa, Israel, October 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- NumberCrunch LTD today announced the conclusion of the testing phase for NumberCrunch LTD's AUC1 advanced artificial intelligence algorithm in Hologic, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOLX) ImageChecker CAD (computer aided detection) mammography system. The patent-pending AUC1 algorithm, which has been optimized for use in Hologic's ImageChecker software, demonstrated a 15.8% improvement in performance.
