Lareau Releases New Single "Don’t Let Me Go" from Forthcoming Album
Wilkes Barre, PA, October 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Lareau is the band that has gained international attention due to its honest cool-mountain-stream aesthetic combining an Eagles/Byrds roots-reverence with a Fray/Maroon 5 modernity. Lareau on Warrior Records/UMGD have released their latest single release “Don’t Let Me Go” which is already climbing the music charts at # 35 on R&R Adult Contemporary. The song, Don’t Let Me Go is from Lareau’s forthcoming album due spring 2010.
Lareau completed the recording with producers Darrin Payne and Anthony Brown at AllSound Group & Graphite Studios in Warren, PA.
Lareau’s first three singles Changes, Change My World and You’re My Christmas on (Warrior/UMGD) charted on all three major Adult Contemporary charts including FMQB, Billboard, and R&R. Chuck Taylor, reviewing for Billboard, wrote of the Changes album “organic play-off of electric and acoustic guitars, bongos and buoyant sing-along hooks,” referring to lead singer Larry Lareau as a frontman “definitely stamped with nostalgic influences.” The review ended with the fact that “it’s a pleasure to see hard-working talent rise to the surface.”
Lareau—founding member and lead vocalist Larry Lareau, drummer/multi-instrumentalist Darrin Payne, guitarist Pete Gool, bassist Roger Christopherson and keyboardist Anthony Brown—is the five-piece band from Western New York and Pennsylvania whose music is a refreshing and uplifting acoustic/electric trip that has had record buyers swooning to its intricate musical interplay.
