Marissa also stated that “in the beginning selling a $200 item was a reason for excitement.” Along the way a relationship with a recycled paper products company was established leading The Fixtures Group to design and manufacture the industry’s very first acrylic card racks.

The Fixtures Group has been an e-commerce pioneer, taking the company entirely online on October 31, 1997. This October will mark The Fixtures Group twelve year anniversary selling exclusively online (early versions of the website can be seen on web.archive.org). A high school student designed the company’s very first website and logo. Today this boutique company is keeping up with the ever changing web by creating a fan page on Facebook, joining Linkedin and twittering along with the rest of the world.
