18th Annual Holiday Homes Tour to Benefit The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura
A charity fundraiser to fund free programs of support, education, and hope for people with cancer and their families.
Westlake Village, CA, October 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura will hold its 18th Annual Holiday Homes Tour from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 6. The self-guided tour is the organization’s largest fundraiser, with proceeds helping to fund The Wellness Community’s free programs of support, education and hope for people fighting cancer and for their families. The Wellness Community also will hold its annual Holiday Boutique the same weekend at the North Ranch Center, 1400 N. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the organization. The Holiday Boutique is free to the public and does not require the purchase of tour tickets.
Founded in 1982, The Wellness Community is an international non-profit organization dedicated to providing free support, education and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones. In July 2009, The Wellness Community and Gilda’s Club joined forces to become the largest provider of cancer support worldwide. The combined organization is comprised of nearly 50 local affiliates, 12 affiliates in development and over 100 satellite locations.
