Flore Fine Flowers Open House on November 21 in Southbury, CT Featuring “Cooking With Lavender” Food Tastings, Wine Pairings, & Clothes Drive for “The Needy Fund”
Southbury, CT, October 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Floré, LLC, Fine Flowers, Connecticut’s award-winning destination for eco-friendly fresh flowers, and natural bath and body spa products, will host their second annual Holiday Open House and Benefit Gala Saturday, November 21th at their 33 Bullet Hill Road store in Southbury from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Floré, LLC, Fine Flowers has won numerous awards and national nominations for their eco-friendly fresh flowers, their signature line of flower and plant-based aromatherapy, and natural bath and body spa products. The November 21st Floré Holiday Open House will include the return of Flore’s wildly-popular “Cooking with Lavender” food tasting and wine pairing. Attendees will be able to sample delectable foods prepared with organic culinary lavender, plus receive recipes and sample suggested wine pairings. Flore’s design staff will also be available to help with holiday gift ideas. The Needy Fund provides a Holiday Program for 65 needy families or 120 children in the local area.
The Needy Fund is an ongoing program that provides donated funds to pay for immediate needs for area residents throughout each year. Ms. Friedlander explained, “This holiday season, we are sponsoring a local family who is in need of new clothes. We will be accepting donations through December 7, 2009.
