Nexcom Vehicle PC Designed for Vehicle Tracking and Monitoring
Based on Intel’s energy-efficient, 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, the VTC 6100 the VTC 6100 boasts numerous I/O interfaces including USB x 3, COM x3, Audio x2, CF, LAN, Mini PCIe x2 and PCI 104. Equipped with GSM/ GPS/ WCDMA/ GPRS modules, the VTC 6100 is ideal for vehicle tracking, monitoring and infotainment, in-vehicle security/surveillance applications.
Fremont, CA, October 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Nexcom introduced the VTC 6100 fan-less in-vehicle computer for vehicle tracking, monitoring, fleet management and computer-aided dispatching. Featuring the Intel® Atom ™processor, the VTC 6100 is more compact and consumes extremely low power to optimize system reliability. The VTC 6100 is well-reputed with the refined configuration of GSM/ GPS/ WCDMA/ GPRS communication capability to realize real-time communication and data collection. 8-level power ignition delay control is selectable to boot up and shut down voltage with low power protection. The benefit of fan-less design makes it an ideal model for 24/7 operation with extremely low maintenance effort.
The VTC 6100 also supports multiple display connections with VGA, TV-out and LVDS for vehicle infotainment. Two mini PCIe and one PCI-104 expansion slots enable to adapt off-the-shelf modules. S3 and S4 Suspend mode is built in for power saving when the system is in idle. In addition, the built-in G sensor provides dispatchers with visibility of vehicle safety and automatic monitoring. To top it all, the VTC series is not only astonishingly reliable; it’s astonishingly affordable, too.
NEXCOM VTC 6100 system has passed severe reliability tests, including vibration, extreme temperature and complies with FCC regulations. The thermal design enables fleet to roam between temperatures of -22 to 140F. The weather-poof kit, back-up battery and LVDS touch screen are optional accessories to enhance its functionalities.
