Stock Displays Continue to Soar Despite Recession
British company Stock Displays have bucked the recent trend by continuing to grow despite the ongoing recession.
Doncaster, United Kingdom, October 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Yorkshire based company Stock Displays have proven that it’s not all doom and gloom in the business world by recently moving into a brand new 25,000sq ft warehouse and office complex at Sky Business Park, next to Robin Hood International Airport in Doncaster.
Stock Displays, who manufacture and supply a wide range of display and exhibition solutions, were established in 2002 by brothers Damian and James Edwards. The continued growth of the company saw them move to the new purpose-built premises in September.
Managing Director Damian Edwards said of the move “We are delighted with the way the company has continually grown over the last few years despite the recent economic downturn, and to be honest the move to this new site was essential in order to sustain that growth. I am also very happy to say that over that same period we have had the need to steadily increase our workforce, both here in the UK and at our manufacturing facility in the far east.”
Stock Displays’ clients include signs companies, exhibition contractors, high street retailers and local authorities. Some of their highest profile customers include Marks & Spencer, Morrisons and the Royal Albert Hall.
As well as the companies offices, showroom and manufacturing lines, the new building includes a 15,000sq ft warehouse stocking products including poster frames, pavement signs, light boxes, banner stands and notice boards. This huge stock means that next day delivery is possible on most of their products.
Because Stock Displays manufacture all of their products in-house at both their Doncaster and Chinese facilities, they are also able to offer a bespoke specials service to suit any budget – whether it is a single snap frame, or 200 light boxes. They also have a dedicated design and print department, meaning full colour printed posters and banners can be supplied together with the display products.
