Sting Networks Overhauls Network Infrastructure

TELES C4 softswitch enhances Sting Network's platform stability, adds services, and cuts costs.

Berlin, Germany, October 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Swedish white label operator Sting Networks has overhauled its existing network infrastructure with a fully redundant TELES next generation network solution as a turnkey replacement. The new network has been built around the successful open standards-based TELES C4 (MGC) softswitch to leverage and interwork with the existing gateway.

Providing an insight into the reasons behind this decision, Leif Bengtsson, CEO at Sting Networks, revealed: "We needed to enhance our platform stability and scalability to enable us to meet the challenges of a rapidly expanding market requiring high quality services from us. The TELES C4 softswitch provides us with the perfect carrier-grade solution to build a solid but flexible basis for growing our customer services and cut costs."

George Lunguran, TELES Regional Sales Director, sees the deal as another breakthrough for TELES in Scandinavia: "TELES reputation has grown rapidly in Sweden and the rest of Scandinavia over the last twelve months. This is more evidence that word of our proven next generation network quality is getting around, and a prestigious project such as this for Sting Networks is further proof of this."
