GAFF Magazine Delivers Again with In-House Digital Strategy
Tallahassee, FL, October 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- GAFF Entertainment again delivered its flagship magazine GAFF in digital format to tens of thousands of subscribers today, free of charge.
GAFF Magazine, Florida's premier fishing and lifestyle magazine, has been in print since October 2003 and began offering a digital magazine in 2005 using a third-party source. GAFF delivered its first in-house designed digital magazine on September 9, 2009, after recognizing the limitations of outsourcing and realizing the advantages of handling design and delivery in-house. The ability to design and deliver a magazine without the use of a third-party increases GAFF's creative ability and efficiency, and allows them to deliver a higher quality magazine.
GAFF’s digital magazine contains all the same content as the bi-monthly printed version, and includes some extras: live-links to websites, rich media, videos and extra editorial not found in the printed version of the magazine. The digital magazine provides a total interactive experience for the reader. Also, the magazine is browser-based so it can be accessed anywhere Internet service is available. Subscribers may download the entire magazine, or only specific articles or ads if desired.
One other notable difference is all digital subscriptions to GAFF Magazine are free of charge. Why free? The free digital magazine gives GAFF's advertising partners an added value. By giving away it's digital magazine GAFF has removed the limit on the number of people who can subscribe and view their magazine. The more people who view the magazine the more exposure GAFF's advertising partners receive.
As the print industry declines, GAFF proactively offers a digital solution, which more effectively markets advertisers’ products and services.
