Galveston Hotel – The Tremont House to Offer Thanksgiving Getaway

Galveston, TX, October 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Galveston’s only historic downtown hotel invites guests to enjoy a quiet getaway for Thanksgiving this holiday season. The Tremont House Thanksgiving Getaway package includes two tickets to Moody Gardens Festival of Lights, a “Thank You Special for Two” at The Spa at the Hotel Galvez, a 20 percent discount at the Tremont Café and a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet served at The Tremont House on Thursday, Nov. 26.

The Spa’s “Thank You Special for Two” offers either a 50 percent discount on the second treatment for one guest or a 50 percent discount on the first treatment for a second guest. The discount at Tremont Café does not include a discount on the Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet. The package, available Nov. 25-28, is $325 for a two-night stay on Wednesday and Thanksgiving Thursday or $395 for a two-night stay on Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, is based on double occupancy. An additional night on Saturday can be added to the latter package for $175.

Guests staying at the hotel on Friday evening can also enjoy the Hotel Galvez Holiday Lighting Celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. This event kicks off the holiday season in Galveston. Galveston will continue to celebrate the holidays with events at Saengerfest Park in downtown Galveston on Saturday.
