New Cocktails Add Ghoulish Flare to the Halloween Party Season

Pocket Cocktails utilizes a retro-1960's theme and features large color photographs of each drink, including step-by-step recipes and ingredients lists. The app also sports a fun random-shaker mode with cool sound effects and includes a handy “Pocket Sommelier” with over 100 food-wine pairing suggestions.

This seamless integration of visuals and content provides a fast, engaging and entertaining user experience. All images, recipes, sommelier pairings and ingredient lists are stored locally on the iPhone so there is no need for an internet connection.

Pocket Cocktails was created in Toronto by a Canadian couple who love to entertain. Robert Maran, the developer and book packager teamed with Dee Jones, an advertising exec. Together they worked day and night to create this groovy application. Rob and Dee have produced five apps on the iTunes store including Dog Tricks and Bark Machine™, Easy Recipes, SixPack App™, and SixPack Yoga™.
