Clear Computing Expands QuickBooks Support
Clear Computing, developer of the Total Activity Control (TAC) operations management system, announced that they have expanded their QuickBooks support. This feature enhancement enables you to eliminate duplicate data entry and automate financial updates.
Tinton Falls, NJ, October 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Clear Computing, developer of the Total Activity Control (TAC) operations management system, announced that they have expanded their QuickBooks support. Total Activity Control currently exchanges customer information with QuickBooks through imports and exports. This feature enhancement enables you to eliminate duplicate data entry and automate financial updates.
“QuickBooks continues to be a useful accounting tool for many of our customers,” said Joel Smith, Clear Computing CIO. “We have enhanced the TAC QuickBooks interface because it makes sense for our customers to pass certain information between TAC, which handles day-to-day operations, and QuickBooks which holds financial summaries for accountants.”
The 2009 version of TAC will now use unique customers IDs in QuickBooks to prevent duplicate customer entries. In addition, this version has a faster import of QuickBooks data into TAC. Customer information imported has been expanded to include job start date, customer notes, credit limit, and other financial information, with an option to create opening balance invoices.
The upcoming TAC 2010 release will further expand the customer imports from QuickBooks to TAC, including historical invoices for customers and invoice payments. TAC 2010 will also incrementally import any new customers created in QuickBooks. In addition, TAC will export date and time-stamped company sales and receivable summaries to QuickBooks which, when used with a date and time-stamped printed report, provide a full audit trail of a company’s sales and receivables activity.
“Companies that want to continue to use QuickBooks for invoices and customer financials will now be able to manage service routes and work orders for these customers in TAC, “explained Joel Smith. “TAC can be used for operations management using the customer information imported from QuickBooks. This is a great solution for companies using QuickBooks that have searched for the high-quality routing and dispatch that Clear Computing provides.”
