A message from John Lee: "Fifteen years and some of the best and most interesting presenters, hundreds of hours of lectures, workshops, poetry, story-telling, tears and much more. Why should the 16th Mentone Men's Gathering here in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachians be any different? This year’s focus is on men and their male friendships, brotherhood, buddies, comrades, confidants and partners. So I have invited my dear friends Robert Bly, Jeffrey Duval, Doug Von Koss, Alan Lyme and others to be with us. We’re going to have a number of exciting, thought-provoking and tender workshops along with music, meaningful story-telling and a little madness thrown in for balance .Now for the poignant part of this year’s program--This will be Tim Schaller’s last year to produce the event that he has put so much love and passion into. I hope, if for no other reason, you come and say thank you to him and bless him. If you have ever wanted to attend to hear the Leader and Father of the Men’s Movement, Robert Bly, along with the rest of the facilitators, this would be the time. I hope you come to the mountain of tears and laughter and join us. I look forward to seeing your faces."
