KBS: Pearl Entertainment's Own Knyce Releases Debut Album "I'm Da Truth," is It True or Just a Title?

Knyce (Hot female emcee) from Atlanta is Taking Hip Hop back for the Females in the industry. 16 year old female says she's the truth. Is it true or is it a title?

Atlanta, GA, October 31, 2009 --(PR.com)-- As a sixteen-year-old female rapper/songwriter whose music grabs fans attention and leaves fans asking for more, Knyce brings the female emcees back into the spotlight.

Having already won over online radio audiences, Knyce is set to take mainstream radio by storm with the release of her single Salute Me—the perfect anthem for Knyce's movement: Females Taking Back Hip Hop.

Females Taking Back Hip Hop strives to change the way females are viewed in the industry. As an female emcee who will earn her keep, Knyce will show the predominantly-male driven music industry that she can respectfully be recognized as the Hot emcee that Knyce is without revealing herself as a sex object.

Now signed to KBS: Pearl Entertainment, fans can finally hear the full range of this talented lyricist with the release of Knyce's debut album “I'm Da Truth” (being released December 2009). Knyce pays tribute to her home-town schools in the song called Do it 4 tha Hood.

"Tyler, Texas raised me and my crew, I give props where props are due, So Swan I owe a lot to you. Turning high schools out, JT (John Tyler) and Lee (Robert E. Lee) where you at?" says Knyce.

“I will never forget where I’m from, I am going to put my town on the map by way of Atlanta.” says Knyce.

A child raised with a Christian up-bringing in Tyler, TX (Smith County aka ―Swan) (born in Dallas, Texas) is now a junior in high school in Atlanta, Georgia. Knyce has been writing poetry since the third grade when Knyce's English teacher told her mother she knew that Knyce was going to be a writer, because of the stories and poetry Knyce wrote then. Today, Knyce continues to write to strengthen her flow, and still maintains a 3.215 GPA, while taking AP classes.

Knyce began to pursue a music career as a rapper two years ago when Knyce saw the need for female emcees in the industry. Knyce’s inspirations are the influential messages the female pioneers have contributed, such as

“The ladies will kick it, the rhymes that are wicked. Those that don’t know how to be pros get evicted. A woman can bear you, break you, take you. Now its time to rhyme can you relate to.” by female rapper Queen Latifah.

Also “People hear me when I talk (as I grow) People try to break me but I still stand strong. And nobody can take me off this path I travel on. People hear me when I talk.” by female rapper Eve, and Knyce wants to be a part of making sure the female voice in rap does not become extinct, forgotten, or dissolved into the industry. Knyce's debut CD ―I’m Da Truth features an online radio favorite, “Good Girl,” along with ―Salute Me, and Do it 4 tha Hood.

To bring perfection to the production of Knyce's songs, Knyce has joined the well- known producers such Vybe Beatz , Fedarro (CEO of Freqbeatz.net) and Trapademics to name a few. Knyce is honored to work with such powerful producers. Working with these producers (whom have worked with artists such as Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Drake) boosts Knyce's confidence and added to Knyce's determination to produce a banging album. KBS: Pearl Entertainment, where she has began her journey to stardom signed Knyce off of the amazement of a 16 year old female rapper that can write lyrics and produce hits that are so positive and sound great at the same time. ―"Knyce is the next pioneer princess in the industry", said Patrick Tarver, KBS:Pearl’s own Chief of Operations.

Knyce has performed and gained recognition at school talent shows. Friends are always excited to see the next young female rapper surface so soon. This is what the industry have been waiting for, a female that can hang with the best. Knyce was awarded 1st or 2nd place in the competitions at school.
