Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders Continues to Bloom and Grow
Magnolia Creek continues to expand and enhance its program offerings through the addition of a Sunday partial-hospitalization program and a new programmatic schedule. The new schedule, built upon the current schedule, will provide for a greater variety of and access to therapeutic groups.
Birmingham, AL, October 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders, in an effort to offer the highest-quality continuum of care, has recently expanded its partial-hospitalization program to include Sundays. Now those in need of the supportive, nurturing and expert care provided by Magnolia Creek, can receive such care 7 days a week continuously.
Similarly, Magnolia Creek has also updated its program schedule to include additional experiential activities such as rope climbing, body movement and self-defense to its already full plate of groups including: psychodrama, spirituality, CBT, cooking, nutrition, family and interpersonal relationships and boundaries.
“Adding Sunday programming will provide additional structure and support for our PHP clients over the weekend until they can transition to providing their own self care,” explains Dr. Nicole Siegfried, Magnolia Creek’s Executive Director.
Programmatic expansion also allows for additional variety and flexibility according to Lynn Eastman, RN, a nurse who has worked at Magnolia Creek for several years and now serves as the new PHP Program Coordinator. “As client care is our number one priority, we are thrilled to continually build upon our already existing proven programs.”
Siegfried and Eastman are encouraged that the addition of Sundays to the PHP program as well as new, cutting-edge groups will further enhance Magnolia Creek’s reputation as a quality program that has held Joint Commission accreditation since its inception and consistently earns high survey scores from the state of Alabama’s licensing agency.
