Stoops Freightliner Announces Cash for Clunker Program for Used Commercial Equipment
Stoops Freightliner Dealer Network Offers Owner Operators and Fleets an Upgrade to Later Model, More Fuel Efficient Class 8 Vehicles
Indianapolis, IN, October 31, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Today, Stoops Freightliner announces its Cash for Clunkers Program for Class 8 vehicles. Previously, North American owner operators and fleets have not directly benefited from bailouts and stimulus funds. That changes today when Stoops Freightliner introduces its Cash for Clunkers Program that guarantees cash for any used truck that is driven into any of its 6 locations in the Midwest. Customers will receive $10,000 on trade towards an extensive selection of previously owned 2006 and 2007 Freightliner Columbias. This program runs until November 30th, 2009.
"I have no doubt the Stoops Cash for Clunkers Program will be well received and I urge our customer to act quickly," explains Al Rock, Corporate Used Truck Manager at Stoops Freightliner. "The recent economic environment has resulted in owners holding on to their trucks longer. Our program is a win-win for the customer because they can receive significant trade value and upgrade to a popular Freightliner model that will result in more uptime and lower maintenance costs.”
From now until November 30th, 2009, any used truck driven into any Stoops location throughout the Midwest with a current DOT inspection will receive a minimum of $10,000 on trade. The later model Freightliner Cascadias, known for comfort and safety, are conveniently located at all Stoops dealerships and are priced to sell. In addition to standard engine and equipment options, customers will be able to take advantage of a complete selection of warranty and financing options. This program is not affiliated with any government program or rebate.
Stoops Freightliner is one of the largest dealers in North America with a total of six locations in both Indiana and Ohio. Stoops offers a complete line of Freightliner, Sprinter and Western Star products in addition to selling new and used trailers. Its portfolio of products and services includes truck and trailer sales, parts and service and collision repair.
