About the Book (Excerpts & Info)
What Drove Him Over The Edge...
Was His Young Son's Tragic Death on a family hunting trip near his brother’s Boonville home, in the Northern California Coastal Range. Hunting accident... animal attack... mistaken identity... or was the innocent boy simply the first victim of his father’s murderous rampage?
To the small-town sheriff, it doesn’t really matter. Three close friends of his — all federal rangers — are also dead. If Dimitri Magnussen killed his own son, too, the autopsy should make that clear. In the meantime, every available sheriff’s department and FBI resource will be trying to put the pieces together, before he kills again. Dimitri’s always had problems — a nasty temperament and an affinity to violence — but combine that with post-traumatic stress disorder after seven years in the Special Forces, and who knows what more he’s capable of. With the unwitting help of Dimitri’s wife, his former commanding officer in the SAS, his estranged parents, and his brother, Wolf — they’ll soon see there’s a whole lot more to this story than meets the eye. Too bad, not everyone will live to tell the tale. It’s a web of deceit, and a story of betrayal forged in the worst possible way... by their own blood.
Deftly constructed at 281 pages, Blood Betrayal is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the Fiction / Suspense category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, Blood Betrayal meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $14.95.
Additionally, Blood Betrayal can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press wholesale online bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/buybooks
