Wake Technical Community College Sponsors Disney Seminar
Local Community College Hosts Disney Program On Business Strategies
Raleigh, NC, September 29, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Wake Technical Community College will host Disney Institute’s professional development program, “The Disney Keys to Excellence,” from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on October 5. The full-day event will be open to area business professionals and will feature four 90-minute sessions including Leadership, Management, Service and Loyalty. Registration and tuition fee for the program is $275 and the deadline for early registration is September 15.
“We are pleased to host this valuable program at Wake Tech,” said Dr. Stephen Scott, president of Wake Technical Community College. “It is our hope that local business leaders will take advantage of this opportunity to learn from the experience of such a successful company.”
George Agues, senior vice president for Walt Disney Parks and Resort said, “What makes the Disney learning experience so different and meaningful is that we do not simply teach theory. We showcase philosophies and strategies that have made the Walt Disney World Resort a success – ideas that are easily adaptable to other organizations. We do this by taking people inside the Disney operation, showcasing on-stage and behind-the-scenes locations so attendees see firsthand how it all happens.”
