Real Estate Investors are Looking for New Ways to Acquire Properties from Banks in an Efficient Manner, Auctions Provide One Possible Solution.

Ms. Bates explained that the auction process is actually quite simple and often only takes 3-5 minutes to complete the process. • Do the work needed to find a lender prior to the auction
• Inspect the properties you are interested in as there is an open house for each home well before each auction
• Come to the auction prepared by having a cashier’s check and your state ID if you plan to purchase a property
• Understand the bidding process and be comfortable with it prior to participating in an auction
• Once the auction is completed you have 30 days after the bank’s acceptance to close on the home. You can start preparing for the closing prior to this time with your lender and attorney
