Halloween Hijinks Detected by Sonitrol Pacific Puts Four in Handcuffs
Stanwood, WA, November 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Sheriff’s deputies responded in force to the call from a Sonitrol Pacific operator and took four suspects into custody after the audio security system at the Little White Church on the Hill detected suspicious activity November 1.
Operator Kris Etheridge received the activation of the church’s audio sensors and heard tapping noises followed by sounds of faint yelling just before 4 a.m. She immediately called the sheriff’s department, then contacted a representative from the church to let them know what was happening.
The church’s representative arrived to find seven patrol cars and a police dog on scene, and four suspects in handcuffs on the ground.
The suspects did not get inside the church, nor did they cause any damage, and the people from the church decided not to press charges. The four were released from custody.
In April of 2009, another Sonitrol Pacific detection at the Little White Church on the Hill resulted in the arrest of five people.
