The winning photo narrowly beat out thirteen other nominated photographs with almost 15% of the votes.

Soumen Basu Mallick won the latest photograph of the month contest with a photo titled Lake Little Tso-Moriri. The winning photo depicted a fantastic scene of Lake Tso-Moriri in Ladakh, India. This was the first Photograph of the Month award received by Soumen.
