Miami Native Selected as a Finalist in 2009 American Way Road Warrior Contest
Justin Forer, former The Miami Herald Silver Knight Award winner, is one of five finalists campaigning for votes to win the Grand Prize, which includes 1 million American Airlines bonus miles
Miami, FL, November 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Justin Forer of Miami Beach has been selected as a finalist in the 2009 Road Warrior contest by American Way magazine, the official magazine of American Airlines.
Just to be selected as a finalist from the thousands of entrants, Justin had to explain his crazy travel schedule, showcase his knowledge of travel related trivia and compile a personal essay about his dream trip (taking his newlywed wife around the world), incorporating the titles of every song from his favorite album, The Roots - Things Fall Apart, into the words of the essay.
Forer is a management consultant with IBB Consulting Group, where he serves as a trusted adviser on strategic marketing, technology, and operational challenges to executives in the media, wireless, and cable industries. Forer was recognized in 1996 by The Miami Herald as a winner of a Silver Knight Award, for his academic excellence and contributions to the greater Miami community.
The top five entries have all been posted online at http://www.americanwaymag.com/roadwarrior and whoever gets the most votes by November 14th, 2009 at 11:59pm CST wins the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner will receive the coveted “Road Warrior” title, be featured in the March 15th, 2010 issue of American Way and be awarded one million AAdvantage bonus miles and two million Hilton HHonors bonus points.
All voters will automatically be entered into a sweepstakes to win 200,000 Hilton HHonors bonus points. The drawing will take place on Dec. 1st, 2009.
