New Release 1.2.0 of the 2nd Derivative Financial Portal is Available for Free Download or on a Free Run-Time DVD

Riverside, CA, November 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Randr Inc's 2nd Derivative (2D) Financial Portal is a free, Real Time Financial and Accounting system giving companies the ability to control and track their financial flow in the global economy. The Financial Portal is one of Randr Inc's free Open Source EBusiness Suites (EBS). It is a full function back office transaction system and a true web application. Financial Portal is available for free download on www.randrinc.com via SourceForge. In addition, the Financial Portal is also now available on free a run-time DVD, with no installation necessary.

Many of the updates is this release of Financial Portal focus on the ease of installation and use. An installation wizard was added to make it easier to install. Financial Portal now has a default chart of accounts when installed so it can be used right away. The run-time DVD makes it easier for business to try, and install, the Financial Portal.

Financial Portal Release 1.2.0 other enhancements include:

-Journal Entries now warn if the current financial period is different then the transaction and also calculates the difference between debits and credits and displays it in red
