The LPQ & LPC Certifications Receive Academic Credit for Bachelor’s Degree
Fairleigh Dickinson University approves credit hours for LPQ & LPC – no fee required.
Charlotte, NC, November 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Loss Prevention Foundation’s LPQualified (LPQ) and LPCertified (LPC) certifications are now eligible for Bachelor degree credits at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU), New Jersey’s largest privately held university. The Petrocelli College of Continuing Studies at FDU will accept three credit hours for the LPQ and six credit hours for the LPC towards a Bachelor’s degree. FDU will post these credits in the same manner as transfer credits, which means no fee required.

Moore. “Completing certifications and enrolling in college courses is a must for those executives seriously interested in furthering their careers.”

The Foundation is gaining momentum for it academic initiative as this announcement comes on the heels of the recently signed memorandum of agreement with Eastern Kentucky University. LPQ and LPC certified professionals can use their certifications towards Master’s degree credit in the Safety, Security & Emergency Management degree.
The LPQualified (LPQ) certification is designed to be a benchmark educational program for both entry level and individuals already within the profession, while the LPCertified (LPC) is designed as advanced education for loss prevention professionals interested in career advancement.
