Esperanza Interfaith Center Moves Monthly Services to Palm Harbor
Esperanza Interfaith Center is a complete source for spiritual advisory, counseling, and celebration services. Rev. Maria Pierre invites people of all faiths to embrace meditation and boundless spirituality.
Tampa, FL, November 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Esperanza Interfaith Center announces that the center’s monthly interfaith services have been moved to the Miracles Now Center, 3281 Tampa Road, Palm Harbor. Upcoming interfaith services will include readings, rituals, prayers, and meditations from many paths with hopes of increasing healing and celebration during the season of thanksgiving. People of all faiths are invited to join in the monthly services slated for Nov. 15 and Dec. 20 from noon to 1 p.m.
Since 1999, the Esperanza Interfaith Center has hosted numerous lakefront celebrations. While interfaith services have moved to the Miracles Now Center, the Esperanza Interfaith Center, 1217 Leisure Ave., Tampa, will continue to host special events and mini-retreats for prayer and meditation by the lake. The next mini-retreat is set for Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A Day of Prayer for Mother Earth festival will follow the mini-retreat.
“There was laughter, meditation, sharing, and bonding with all participants at Rev. Maria’s last retreat,” said Helen A. Wing, who has been a supporter of Esperanza Interfaith Center for nearly 10 years and has benefited from Reverend Maria Pierre’s one-on-one spiritual growth sessions. “It is an environment of total peace and harmony, and I feel that is what Rev. Maria exudes.”
Led by the Rev. Pierre, Esperanza Interfaith Center is committed to serving all who seek a personally meaningful experience of connection with the Sacred, whether within or outside of an established religious tradition. A fluent speaker of English and Spanish, Rev. Pierre offers celebration services, provides spiritual advisory, and conducts individual, couples, and group counseling. To accommodate each individual’s unique needs, she offers everything from spiritual meditation sessions to traditional counseling to resolve relationship problems, to conquer addictions, or to deal with grief and loss.
“Through gentle guidance, I encourage people of all faiths to find serenity and joy at any time and in any place through prayer and meditation,” said Rev. Pierre, who earned a Harvard degree and compiled years of professional counseling experience prior to becoming an ordained minister.
