Cornish & Carey Welcomes Allison Gorelick to Investment Team
Allison Gorelick has joined Cornish & Carey Commercial/ONCOR International as vice president of the firm. Mrs. Gorelick, a LEED AP-certified and Chartered Financial Analyst, brings to C&C more than 15 years of development and financial leadership experience. She joins C&C President Erik Doyle’s investment team and will be based in the firm’s San Francisco office.
San Francisco, CA, November 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Cornish & Carey Commercial/ONCOR International (C&C), the dominant real estate force in Northern California, announced today that Allison Gorelick has been appointed vice president. Mrs. Gorelick, a LEED AP-certified and Chartered Financial Analyst, brings to C&C more than 15 years of development and financial leadership experience. She joins C&C President Erik Doyle’s investment team and will be based in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Prior to this appointment, Mrs. Gorelick was most recently a vice president with SARES•REGIS Group. SARES•REGIS Group is one of the largest, most diversified private real estate companies in the Western United States. The company develops, acquires, builds and manages a variety of commercial and residential properties for sale, lease and investment. In 2006 she was chosen to found SARES•REGIS Group’s acquisitions team.

Mrs. Gorelick’s recent commercial real estate development and acquisitions accomplishments include:
Acquired a $52.6 million, three building multi-tenant, 475,000 sf Class A warehouse distribution facility and the adjacent 40 acres in Richmond, CA. Completed in May 2008. Received entitlements for 640,000sf of additional industrial development in December 2008.
Acquired a $21.4 million 246,500 sf industrial building in Fremont, CA. Completed in June 2008.
Acquired a $40.5 million 200,000 sf 12-story Class C office building in San Mateo, CA in August 2007. Completed a $3.5 million renovation of the project to Class B office in May 2008.
Developed a $215 million 550,000sf campus in Culver City, CA with LEED Silver Certification. Completed in October 2007.
Developed a $47 million 205,000sf campus in Springfield, OR. Completed in July 2005.
“As both a project manager, and the head of an acquisitions team of a development company, I have overseen every aspect of the development cycle -- from property acquisition and entitlements to construction, the leasing, and ultimate disposition of a project,” said Allison Gorelick. “My time will now be focused on the aspects of commercial real estate that I most enjoy and at which I excel -- evaluating assets, understanding the needs of potential buyers and sellers and negotiating deals. Prior to SARES•REGIS Group, Mrs. Gorelick was vice president of Business Development with Stonepath Group, a publicly traded venture capital company funding early stage tech start-ups. Before Stonepath, she was director of Acquisitions with Alert Alarm Company where she grew the company 132% within 18 months, through acquisitions and assisted in the negotiation and sale of the company to a private Fortune 50 company.
