Radisson LAX to Participate in 12th Annual National Recycling Campaign
Guests and employees of Radisson LAX Hotel are encouraged to take the pledge to recycle more on America Recycles Day.
Los Angeles, CA, November 12, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Radisson Hotel at Los Angeles Airport has partnered with Keep America Beautiful, Inc., and the National Recycling Coalition to celebrate America Recycles Day 2009 on November 15 with a pledge drive for guests and employees. The Radisson LAX is challenging all constituents to Take the Pledge to renew their commitment to recycling.
“Recycling is a big priority at the Radisson LAX, which has allowed us to reduce our solid waste by as much as 67%,” said Cindy Boulton, Area Managing Director. “America Recycles Day gives us an opportunity to help spread the word and encourage our constituents to remain focused on recycling throughout the year.”
America Recycles Day 2009 is one of the most comprehensive recycling awareness campaigns in the nation. Each year millions of people become better informed about the advantages of recycling and buying recycled products as a result of the group’s efforts. Last year, thousands signed or e-mailed pledges to recycle and buy recycled.
Taking the Pledge is a voluntary and individual commitment to become more knowledgeable on what materials are recyclable in your community, to become a leader by recycling more, to encourage elected officials to support recycling programs, and to spread the word on the benefits of recycling.
America Recycles Day 2009 maintains a website at www.americarecyclesday.org where you can go for information about events in your community, to sign an online pledge to recycle and to learn more about this year’s campaign and statewide activities.
