Palm Beach International Film Festival Announces Call to Entries

Competitive Film Festival Welcomes Filmmakers Worldwide to Partake in the 12th Annual Event

Palm Beach, FL, October 04, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The 12th Annual Palm Beach International Film Festival (PBIFF) has announced today that they are now accepting film submissions for the Festival taking place April 19-26, 2007. Filmmakers worldwide are encouraged to submit their projects for consideration. Festival organizers have already begun planning parties, seminars, workshops and endless networking opportunities with industry professionals.

All selected films are eligible to be included in the competition for "Audience Favorite" in the following categories – Feature, Short and Documentary. The competitive part of the film festival is available in the categories of Best Feature, Best Documentary and Best Short along with other awards.

“Every year we work hard to top the previous,” explains Randi Emerman, Executive Director of the Festival, “We have already lined up exciting venues, sponsors and underwriters and we are confident this will be a record setting year for PBIFF.”

Entry forms and eligibility guidelines are available on www.withoutabox.com and the festival's website, www.pbifilmfest.org. Discounted entry fees are provided for films submitted by December 22, 2006, and the final deadline is February 2, 2007.
