Santa Rosa, CA, November 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Invitations by Ajalon Printing and Design announces the addition of a new associate today, as the business continues to expand their letterpress wedding invitation division to include map making. Drawing upon the unique strengths of a recent Sonoma State University graduate, Dean Tisthammer, Invitations by Ajalon plans to further extend their services and authority in the wedding invitation industry.
Tisthammer studied geography with a special concentration in geographic information systems (GIS) and cartography. His expertise include making maps and graphic design, the combination of which will add valuable new potential for both Invitations by Ajalon and their customers.

Dean Tisthammer has been working with computers and graphic arts programs for nearly a decade, and has a special interest in applying artistic interpretations to scientific data. Completing a senior project with GIS that focused on tracking a fifty-year transformation of apple orchards into wine vineyards in Sebastopol C.A., Tisthammer’s position will require a synthesis of graphic design, map making and customer service.
